The banner is in support of the Oxfordshire Reclaim the Night campaign: Listen Up! Let's create safe spaces for women to be heard.

Are you ready to Reclaim the Night? On Saturday we went to Cornmarket in Oxford to get the word out about the march and International Women's Day celebrations coming up on Friday, and the Listen Up! campaign. The lovely Lush people helped us set up a stall in front of the shop, Gina & Bethany from Sol Samba joined our own Kirsty to get the Saturday shoppers listening, and we collected responses from passers by to the question: "What makes you feel heard?" The answers we got were so varied - from 'trust' and 'attention', to 'a roof over my head', 'safety', 'people looking at me when I...

The Lodge 'gentleman's club' was briefly closed down last month after OFN and local residents were successful in raising objections to their license renewal at a council hearing. But just a few days later the club re-opened after being granted a judicial review into the council's decision.
OFN's submission was comprehensive, and...

We'd love for more women and men to get involved to help make this a powerful campaign, a proud march, and a great rally! Meetings are creative AND organised and there's a role for everyone. To find out more and get involved, email rtn.oxford@gmail.com...

Support UK Feminista's campaign to end cosmetic surgery advertising. Call on the Government to act by adding your name to the petition.
Petition text
We call on the Government to end cosmetic surgery advertising.
Right now there are few restrictions on where and how cosmetic surgery providers can advertise their procedures.
Yet cosmetic surgery adverts ruthlessly prey on women’s body anxieties to generate profit. They recklessly trivialise surgical procedures that carry real health risks and fuel body...
