Making Your Voice Heard - a women's toolkit for local lobbying

As a follow up to work the Women's Budget Group carried out in 2006/7 on engaging women in poverty in the policy-making process (http://www.jrf.org.uk/publications/engaging-and-empowering-women-poverty), we have produced a resource pack for individuals and groups who may be campaigning from a marginalised position, or who may lack experience in lobbying and developing effective campaign strategies.

We worked in partnership with Platform 51 on this project, and the resource pack is based on workshops carried out with women at Platform 51 centres in Warstones and Bilston in Wolverhampton.
