Friday 22 October saw the third Reclaim the Night march and rally in as many years. For a bit of a background to Reclaim the Night see http://reclaimthenight.org . I was not on the march, but was at the rally in Oxford's Ruskin College.
Overall, I thought it was a good rally. I liked the mix between people talking about the issues combined with a bit of entertainment. Well that's it, we're committed now! Dozens of people came to the gig, we raised a decent amount for OSARCC (Oxford Rape Crisis), distributed 1,000 leaflets and ordered another print run, started booking the rally speakers - and now we're in the Oxford Mail!
